Scope of Work: Traditional construction of a new single storey nursery school linked to the existing school, which was initially started as a Design & Build project. Complete with external landscaping within the occupied grounds of Corsham Primary School.
The school incorporates new classrooms/play areas, W.C. facilities, kitchen, reception office, storage area.
Oakland personnel were all assessed and certified under Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) because of close proximity to children in playground and classrooms.
The external works incorporated grassed areas, secure fencing and play equipment.
Budget and timing to open for autumn term were all key factors, and both were met successfully.
